Day 1: Arrival

Meet and assist at International Athens Airport and transfer to your hotel.

Athens, the cradle of democracy and birthplace of western civilization is a vibrant city where the new and old co-exist.

Day 2: Athens/ City tour on sharing basis (coach tour) – duration of tour approx. 4 hours (B)

Breakfast at hotel. In the morning you will be picked up from your hotel and start the half-day tour to Athens. This tour gives you an opportunity to observe the striking contrasts that make Athens such a fascinating city. Our expert guides will take you to see the Panathenaic Stadium where the first Olympic Games of modern times were held in 1896 (short stop). Continue and pass by the Presidential residence (ex Royal Palace) guarded by the Euzones in their colorful uniform, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, the Hadrian’s Arch, the Parliament and the memorial to the Unknown Soldier, the Academy, the University, the National Library, the Constitution Square (Syntagma). On the Acropolis visit the Architectural Masterpieces of the Golden Age of Athens: The Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion, the Parthenon and finally “the harmony between material and spirit”, the monument that “puts order in the mind”, the New amazing Acropolis Museum consistently rated as one of the best museums in the world. Return to your hotel. Free evening.

Day 3: Athens/ OPTIONAL: Full day Delphi with lunch on sharing basis (coach tour) duration on tour aprox 8 hours(B/L)

Breakfast at hotel. You will be picked up from your hotel. Drive through the fertile plain of Beotia, crossing the towns of Thebes connected with the tragedy of King Oedipus - Levadia and Arachova (short stop on the way back).

Arrive at Delphi, the center of Ancient World - the "Omphalos" (Navel of Earth) – whose prestige extended far beyond the boundaries of the Hellenic World. On the slopes of Mount Parnassus, in a landscape of unparalleled beauty and majesty, lie the ruins of the Sanctuary of Apollo Pythios. Visit the Treasury of the Athenians, the Temple of Apollo and the Museum containing such masterpieces of Ancient Greek sculpture as the bronze Charioteer and the famous athlete Aghias.

Overnight in Athens

Day 4: Athens/ Poros (Greece) (join the 7 nights cruise JEWELS OF THE CYCLADES CRUISES) (B/L or D)

Pick up from your hotel and transfer to the port to join the 7 nights JEWELS OF THE CYCLADES CRUISES.

Embarkation at Marina Zea in Athens, between 2-3 pm. Enjoy a welcome drink and meet your crew and fellow passengers. Sail for Poros for a short 3 hours visit, before set sail to Poliegos.

Day 5: Poliegos-Folegandros (Greece) (B/L or D)

Morning arrival in Poliegos, a very small island known for its amazing beaches. Morning swim stop followed by a BBQ on deck. Afternoon sailing to Folegandros, one of the most amazing and less known islands in the Aegean Sea. Walk the amazing Upper city and have the possibility to taste delicacies at traditional Greek tavernas.

Day 6: Santorini (Greece) (B/L or D)

Early in the morning depart for Santorini. Morning arrival at Santorini (occasionally at anchor) to explore its unique capital Fira. Optional Excursion to Akrotiti excavations and a tour of the villages including the small, beautiful village of Oia known for its breathtaking view over the caldera.

Day 7: Antiparos - Paros (Greece) (B/L or D)

In the morning you will enjoy a swim stop in an enchanting bay of Antiparos. Early noon arrival in Paros. Visit Parikia and the quaint village of Naoussa. Time to have a fun night and show us your dancing skills during our famous Greek Night.

Day 8: Delos – Mykonos (Greece) (B/L or D)

Optional morning tour to the unique archaeological site of Delos, antiquity’s most sacred island. Later, we stop at one of Mykonos beautiful bays for swimming off the ship before sailing into the port of Mykonos. The island of the jet setters is yours to explore, and the night is young.

Day 9: Syros (Greece) (B/L or D)

After a morning swim we will arrive in Syros, the capital of the Cycladic islands where you can enjoy one of its beautiful sandy beaches or walk-through town and enjoy the unique architecture of the buildings.

Day 10: Kythnos – Cape Sounion Athens (Greece) (B/L or D)

In the morning we will arrive in Kythnos where you will enjoy a swim in Kolones bay and will then set sail for Marina Zea where we will arrive in the late afternoon via Cape Sounion, the temple of Poseidon. Captain’s Farewell Dinner.

Day 11: Athens (B)

Disembarkation at 8-9am after breakfast. Pick up for your departure transfer to the airport
